I've been working on creating the culture for the elves within my books. Mainly these last couple of days I've been creating homes and villages, just to finally get a feel for them. I don't really know what sort of feel I want my version of elves to give off, I have some inkling of an idea but that's it. I want them to be somewhat rustic, very natural, with a mixture homely-ness. I don't want them be completely tree based, I want them to have buildings that are large and beautiful and natural. Almost like a medieval village within this large and vast forest where these gargantuan trees coexist with them.
